"Sadly, a lot of products don’t live up to their name, but the American Power Cord Cover is not one of them. I replaced my current cover with a zipper opening with this new cover, and what a difference. This cover has 4 or 5 times the room, allowing me to put my water line, and 2-30 amp power cords with room to spare, and was easily done using the industrial Velcro opening. My old nylon one had very little room, deteriorated from the sun and the cheap plastic, not metal zipper had pulled apart and away from the nylon and came apart in several places. "I used to buy cord covers at West Marine for my electric cords. I needed two sections to cover the 50 ft. length of cords. They lasted about a year before they fell apart from sun rot. The new covers are made of black (my choice) Sunbrella which I know will last longer than the other covers. They fasten around the cords with Velcro and don't have all the additional straps to hold them to a railing. I am delighted with the new covers and even though they were a little more expensive I believe they will look better and last longer than the ones sold by West Marine.
